A newspaper report described an airship crashing into a windmill in Aurora, TX. The pilot — described as 'not of this world' — was reportedly buried in the local cemetery. The incident occurred during the 1896-97 airship wave across the US. The Aurora Cemetery still has a historical marker referencing the event.
