Haim Eshed

Retired Israeli general who served as head of Israel's space security program (the Defense Ministry's Space Division) for nearly 30 years. In December 2020, at age 87, he gave an interview to Yediot Aharonot (Israel's most widely read newspaper) claiming that the United States and Israel have been in contact with a 'Galactic Federation' of extraterrestrials. He stated that aliens and the US government have an agreement, that there is an underground base on Mars where American and alien representatives collaborate, and that President Trump was 'on the verge' of revealing the truth but was asked to wait because humanity wasn't ready. He said he delayed going public because the academic community would have called him delusional — but at 87 with nothing to lose, he spoke. Whether credible or not, Eshed is the former head of a major allied nation's space defense program making the most specific public claims of any government official in history.
