Varginha Incident — Military & Civilian Witnesses

In January 1996, multiple civilians and military personnel in Varginha, Brazil reported encounters with non-human beings. Three girls encountered a creature in a vacant lot. Brazilian military captured at least one being, which was taken to a local hospital where a doctor treated it before it died. Military personnel involved reported being threatened with silence. One soldier who handled a being died weeks later of unexplained infection. James Fox's documentary 'Moment of Contact' (2022) features deathbed confessions from military participants.
