Tom DeLonge: Mentored Then Intercepted
Tom DeLonge, co-founder of Blink-182, was initially mentored by Steven Greer on UAP topics. DeLonge stayed at Greer's home during this period. However, he was subsequently 'intercepted' by General McCaslin (Wright-Patterson AFB) and others who, according to Greer, provided DeLonge with disinformation and directed him toward 'very dark stuff' — including the threat-narrative framing of extraterrestrials. DeLonge went on to co-found To The Stars Academy (TTSA) with Luis Elizondo and others, which became the vehicle for the 2017 New York Times UAP disclosure. Greer views this as a case study in how the disinformation apparatus works: take a sincere, high-profile truth seeker, redirect them with partial truths and false framings, and use their platform to push a controlled narrative. McCaslin was specifically 'in charge of intercepting people and providing them with disinformation to spin it.' McCaslin's subsequent disappearance adds another layer — he may have gone missing because of his knowledge of these operations as law enforcement closes in.
