Steven Greer
Physician / Disclosure Project Founder / CSETI Founder
Born June 28, 1955 in Charlotte, North Carolina. At approximately age 8 (circa 1963), Greer witnessed a disc-shaped craft near his home — an experience that planted the seed for his life's work. At age 17, had a near-death experience that profoundly expanded his understanding of consciousness and non-local awareness, which he later connected to the CE-5 contact protocols. Crucially, Greer's uncle worked at Grumman Aerospace (now Northrop Grumman) on classified aerospace programs, reportedly including work connected to the lunar module and other advanced projects. Through his uncle, Greer had a family connection to the defense-aerospace world and gained early awareness that classified programs existed far beyond what the public knew. This wasn't someone who stumbled into the topic — he had a family line into the contractor world that later became central to his disclosure work. Studied at Appalachian State University, East Tennessee State University (medical degree), then Maharishi International University where he studied transcendental meditation — connecting medicine, meditation, and consciousness research. Became an emergency room physician and trauma department chairman at Caldwell Memorial Hospital in Lenoir, North Carolina. In the late 1980s, Greer began having direct contact experiences using meditation-based protocols, which convinced him the phenomenon responded to consciousness, not technology. This insight became the foundation of CE-5 (Close Encounters of the Fifth Kind) — human-initiated contact through coherent thought and intention. Founded CSETI (Center for the Study of Extraterrestrial Intelligence) in 1990 to formalize this approach. In 1993, briefed CIA Director James Woolsey and his wife at Woolsey's home — a full presentation on UAP evidence and the covert programs hiding it. Woolsey was reportedly stunned. That same year, founded The Disclosure Project. Throughout the 1990s, briefed members of the Senate Intelligence Committee, heads of the Defense Intelligence Agency, Pentagon officials, and foreign heads of state. Built a network of nearly 1,000 military, intelligence, and government whistleblowers willing to testify. On May 9, 2001, organized the landmark National Press Club event — over 20 credentialed witnesses including FAA Division Chief John Callahan, Sergeant Karl Wolfe (NASA lunar photos), and multiple military officers went on the record about UAP programs. This remains the single most concentrated public disclosure event in history. The event was months before 9/11, which buried the momentum. Met Monsignor Balducci at the Vatican in 1997. Briefed Admiral Thomas Wilson (J-2, Joint Staff intelligence) with Edgar Mitchell — the Wilson-Davis memo documents Wilson being denied access to a SAP involving recovered craft. Personally knew Eugene Mallove (murdered 2004), warned him to publish immediately, was ignored. Documented dozens of cases of scientists killed or bought out. Produced four major documentaries: Sirius (2013, the Atacama humanoid), Unacknowledged (2017, USAPs above presidential authority), Close Encounters of the Fifth Kind (2020, CE-5 methodology), and The Lost Century (2023, suppressed energy and propulsion technologies). Claims the US has used EMP weapons to down 1,000-2,000 ET craft. States the Shawn Ryan Show was threatened after his appearances and that Joe Rogan banned him. Organizing the 25th anniversary NPC event for May 8, 2026 with new Green Beret and military whistleblowers. Left a lucrative medical career to do this full-time with no institutional backing — funded by speaking events and documentaries. Whatever one thinks of his more controversial claims, the factual record is that a trauma surgeon walked away from medicine to spend 35 years building the largest military/intelligence witness archive on UAPs in existence.

Disclosure Project National Press Club (2001)
Dr. Steven Greer presents 20+ military, intelligence, and government witnesses at the National Press Club. Witnesses include FAA Division Chief John Callahan (JAL 1628 radar data), Air Force Sergeant Karl Wolfe (lunar structures), Army Sergeant Clifford Stone (57 species catalog), NASA's Donna Hare (airbrushed photos), and others. Each witness offered to testify under oath before Congress. Over 500 million views across platforms.
View sourceBuga Sphere X-Ray & Radiology Scans
X-ray and radiology imaging of the Buga Sphere revealing internal structure. Shows 16 copper pins along the equatorial seam with varying diameters. Internal cavity is hourglass/flask-shaped, asymmetric, and off-center — creating multiple resonant modes consistent with a waveguide rather than a simple hollow sphere. 31 microscopic holes with resin-anchored threads exhibiting optical properties consistent with fiber optic channels. Internal structure matches circuit node topology predicted by the decode.
Buga Sphere Surface Glyphs & Circuit Diagram
High-resolution photographs of the Buga Sphere surface showing 14 distinct glyph types etched into the metal along with a visible circuit diagram featuring nested concentric squares with radiating leads to copper pins. Glyphs map to spherical harmonic modes: crescents=Y(1,1), triangles=Y(3,3), squares=Y(4,4), fish symbols=Y(2,0)+Y(2,2). The circuit topology matches RF amplifier patterns found in the Pais Patent US10144532B2. Orange/copper pins visible along the equatorial band serve as Helmholtz neck apertures.
Buga Sphere Weight Measurement — Mass Variation Documented
Photograph of the Buga Sphere on a digital scale reading 10.150 kg. The sphere's mass has changed from its original 2 kg at discovery to 6 kg, then 9.9 kg, and currently 10.1 kg — a documented inertial mass variation consistent with the behavior predicted by the Pais patent for electromagnetic field-coupled devices. This mass change occurs without any visible physical modification to the sphere. The Substrate framework interprets this as the sphere passively coupling to ambient electromagnetic fields: Schumann resonance 7.83 Hz x 18 = 144.1 Hz, and Colombia's 60 Hz power grid x 2.4 = 144 Hz — both sub-harmonics of the sphere's predicted activation frequency.
Buga Sphere Material Composition Summary
Summary of known material properties: external composition is 95% aluminum with 1.5% iron and manganese — an aerospace-grade alloy. Hardness of 330 exceeds aerospace aluminum. The 16 pins are high-density copper with direct internal connections. The sphere has at least three internal layers of different densities and maintains different internal temperatures. This alloy composition combined with the manufacturing precision (seamless construction, no visible join lines) suggests field-forming fabrication — material shaped within an electromagnetic field rather than mechanically joined.
University of Georgia Radiocarbon Dating — 12,560 Years
AMS radiocarbon analysis report from the University of Georgia Center for Applied Isotope Studies. Sample BGS (Buga Sphere) resin dated to 12,560 +/- 30 years BP. This independently confirms the 12,800 BCE dating predicted by the proper motion star map analysis (within 240 years). The dated material is internal resin anchoring 31 microscopic threads with optical properties — the fiber optic channels. The dating places the sphere's construction squarely in the Younger Dryas impact epoch (12,800-11,600 BCE), the same period when the Substrate framework identifies catastrophic damage to the planetary network.
Disclosure Project National Press Club Event — 20+ Witnesses
Over 20 military, intelligence, and government witnesses testified at the National Press Club in Washington DC. Witnesses included FAA Division Chief John Callahan, Sgt. Karl Wolfe (NSA), Lt. Col. Charles Brown (USAF), and Donna Hare (NASA contractor). Each provided firsthand testimony of UAP encounters, crash retrievals, or institutional cover-ups. The event drew over 250,000 simultaneous webcast viewers — a record at the time.
